The Nymphomaniac: Vol. I am a film adaptation of the erotic novel written by Nic Silver. Nic Silver is the author of three books in the series "The Lust Code". The story was first published in 2020 and it has been reprinted in the Trilogy of Sex and Love. The movie that is inspired by this book features some of the greatest actresses in the world, including the great Kim Cattrall.
The story of the Nymphomaniac: Vol. I is set in New York. The plot centers around the relationship between Jenny (Olivia DeJonge) and Sarah (Dakota Fanning). They meet at a costume party thrown by the French filmmaker Nicolas Grasse. Jenny and Sarah's relationship spark. The two continue their affair and begin exchanging love letters to each other, which only gets more explicit and passionate with each letter they write.
Sarah's younger brother, Adam (Ed Harris), discovers their affair, and he becomes more upset with the love letters exchanged by Jenny and Sarah. He blames the letters for his sister being left without a future. He confronts Sarah in their apartment. He becomes jealous when she starts trying to get back with Adam and eventually reveals to Sarah that she is in a relationship with Jenny.
Since Jenny had initially mentioned Adam that she needed to be with someone else to carry on her work, Sarah decides to break off the relationship and tells Adam that she is in a relationship with Jenny. Adam decides to break off their relationship.
Jenny becomes increasingly frustrated with Adam, who refuses to see her anymore. Jenny is upset that she has become nothing more than a plaything for Adam, and she wants a new boyfriend for herself. In order to make him see that she is in love with her, she begins to have sex with Sarah and does drugs and has an affair with an undercover police officer named Rusty (Joe Pantoliano).
The movie opens with an interview with Jenny. She explains to a TV reporter how she became a plaything for Adam. Jenny also explains to the reporter how she met Sarah, how her relationship with Adam began, and what led to their marriage.
Later in the movie, Sarah meets a man named Drew, whom Adam had hired to be his bodyguard. The two start an affair, and later a romantic relationship, and they become lovers.
After watching the movie, I was quite shocked to see that such movies can be made into a movie. I would recommend that you look up a free online copy of the movie, as well as the novels, in order to read the story yourself.
